Terms of Use

Version 2026-10b · Effective 22 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Sugendra Reddy trading as Talszo (“Talszo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Talszo, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or guardian, you also agree to them on behalf of the children whose profiles you create.

1. Accounts and who can use Talszo

2. Parents and guardians

By adding a child's profile, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorised to consent for them, and that you consent to the child using Talszo as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for supervising the child's use as is appropriate for their age, particularly during live classes.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules. If a child may be at risk, we may report it to the authorities.

4. Live classes

4a. Recordings and video assessments

Live lessons may be recorded, and learners can send video assessments for a teacher to mark. By using these features you agree that Talszo may use the recordings and submissions to give feedback, to research and improve our courses and advice, and — with the separate consent of a parent or guardian for learners under 18 — in Talszo's promotional videos and social media. See the Privacy Policy for details and how to withdraw consent. A video assessment is marked within a few working days; if a video cannot be marked (for example no sound), you may record it again free of charge.

4b. Family Live lessons and support teachers

Family Live lessons are for up to four learners from the same account. Talszo may recommend a support teacher, based on the learners' levels and assessment results, to help learners who are not yet able to hold a conversation on their own. The support teacher is an optional add-on charged on top of the lesson price. Back-to-back lessons can be booked as one longer session when the teacher is free.

5. Free and paid plans

6. Coins, rewards and virtual items

XP, coins, streaks, chests, badges and world items exist only to make learning fun. They have no money value, cannot be bought, sold, exchanged or withdrawn for cash, and we may rebalance or change them. They are lost if the profile or account is deleted.

6a. Promotions, free courses and competitions

From time to time we may offer free courses (such as a seasonal course that opens one lesson per day), discounts and competitions. Share & Win: each account gets a personal link; a point counts when someone opens Talszo through that link, creates an account and pays for any Premium plan during the competition dates shown in the app. Free trials, 100%-off codes and your own or duplicate accounts do not count. The account with the most points wins the prize shown in the app; ties go to whoever reached the score first. We may disqualify fake, duplicate or abusive sign-ups. The prize has no cash value and cannot be exchanged.

Copyright concerns: if you believe something on Talszo infringes your rights, email support@wereddy.online with the details and we will review it promptly.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Talszo available and accurate, but the service may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features and content. If a change significantly reduces what you have paid for, we will offer a fair remedy.

9. Liability

Talszo is an educational tool. We don't guarantee any particular test result, grade or level of fluency. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We do not exclude liability where the law forbids it, including for gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we close an account for reasons other than a breach, we will refund any unused prepaid period.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
